I happened upon "occupy wall street" in my travels on Sunday and took some quick photos. Early this morning the police shut down the scene and tension is building, so I captured one of the last days that tents were allowed in Zuccotti park. Please note that this post does not reflect any views on the movement; I just feel as if I captured a small piece of history. The magic of cell phone photos never ceases to amaze me. This also serves as a reminder to be aware of life around you and take the time to appreciate a protest, a portrait, or a even a simple fancy drink. The opportunity for art is all around us if we just take the time to notice.
